ABOUT DANIELLE
After graduating with my Bachelor’s of Social Work from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2014, I went on to obtain my Masters of Social work from Rutgers University in 2019. Having dedicated 10 years to serving the children and families of New Jersey with the Division of Child Protection & Permanency, I have a diverse experience in working with those in the foster care system, and adoption-related/attachment issues. Additionally, I served as adjunct professor at Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2022, teaching Child Welfare. In my current role as a surrogate support social worker, I assist in all aspects of the surrogate process from initial assessment to matching with intended parents and providing support through all of the intricacies of the surrogacy journey.
PERINATAL MENTAL HEALTH:
In the last several years, after my own personal infertility and IVF journey, I shifted my professional focus to the continuum of reproductive health and mental wellness during the family building years, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum. I have a vast knowledge of infertility-related issues, reproductive medicine, and surrogacy and currently I am pursuing my certification in Perinatal Mental Health. With my personal and professional experience, I am committed to creating a safe space for you to tell your story.
APPROACH TO THERAPY
I am dedicated to challenging and supporting you as you navigate this current season of life and the everyday stress that accompanies the overall human experience. I hope that you will be able to rely on our authentic therapeutic relationship to find the strength and courage to meet the goals that you have identified that are meaningful and a priority to you. I take on a therapeutic approach that integrates several evidence-based modalities, but together we will create a tailored strategy to your own unique path of healing.
